Explore our offerings and witness how mediation excels:

Family & Divorce:

When emotions run high, Mediation offers a way to navigate family disagreements, divorce settlements, co-parenting arrangements, and estate planning harmoniously. Should circumstances not allow for mediation to be appropriate or take place, I can issue a Section 60i certificate that enables parties to go to court.

Business and Commercial:

Disagreements in business need not escalate into costly legal battles. Mediation allows companies to collaborate on resolving contractual disputes, partnership conflicts, and more. Healthcare disputes including patient-provider conflicts or medical malpractice claims; Insurance disputes such as claims processing or coverage disagreements, Intellectual property disputes involving copyrights, trademarks, or patents, Government-related disputes including administrative matters, public policy issues, or regulatory conflicts.

Employment:

Workplace conflicts can drain productivity and morale. Mediation steps in to address workplace disputes, discrimination claims, and employee grievances.

Community:

Strengthen community bonds by utilizing mediation to address neighbourhood disputes, landlord-tenant disagreements, and other local issues. Environmental disputes related to land use, resource management, or pollution.

Education:

Mediation fosters healthier learning environments by addressing conflicts between students, parents, and educational institutions, promoting collaborative solutions. Educational disputes involving students, parents, teachers, or administrators.

Shifting Tides is your gateway to understanding the incredible potential of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mediation's human-centric approach ensures that resolutions are not merely imposed but are born out of mutual agreement.

Mediation is a powerful tool for resolving conflicts and shaping a more harmonious world.

Mediation

What is mediation?

Mediation is a structured dispute resolution process that supports parties to identify issues, develop options, consider alternatives and outcomes and make decisions about future actions and behaviours, through a productive, collaborative process, supported by flexible thinking, listening and future focused communication methods.

Why try mediation?

Mediation puts the control back in your hands. Mediation can be quicker, less expensive and more satisfying than a court trial.

“If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.”
