Having enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) a diverse working life, primarily owning my own businesses (initially in Sydney and then moving to the Gold Coast in 2010) meant working with many people from all walks of life, from young to mature, across genders and cultures.

Throughout my life, people have been my 'hobby', both professionally and personally. Relationship building, mentoring and counselling, coordinating varying business groups with multiple services and organising social gatherings have been a key part of who I am – given this 'hobby' of mine, the commitment to being a full-time counsellor was the obvious pathway for my future.

I was once told; "Your voice is real, your message resonates, and you offer humour, compassion and presence, all at the same time." I have learned that people will forget what you said or what you did but they will never forget how you made them feel.
My approach is accepting, empowering and validating.

Like you, I have had a life of experiences and one of my greatest takeaways is to listen with the intent to understand, which is perhaps the most powerful approach for change that I know.
What resonates with my life journey, is that everyone has something to work through at some point in their lives.

I'm thankful for all of it. The highs. The lows. The setbacks. The comebacks. The love. The pain. Everything.

Things happen, priorities shift and circumstances change and in many ways, they mirror the waterways of the coast that continually change with “Shifting Tides”.

Are you ready to make that first step? I look forward to meeting you and supporting you with your new journey.

Don’t wait till hardship happens in your life to choose to be happy

Let's look forward with hope and not backward with regret.

It's not about what you need to do.
It's about who you want to be.
